Learn more about the Guskiewiczes, hear their personal insights and get a preview of Kevin’s vision for Carolina just before he is installed as our 12th chancellor.
Installation
Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.
Kevin Guskiewicz will be installed as chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during the official ceremony at 3 p.m. on Oct. 11. The University will host a virtual watch party of the historic event on this website for Tar Heels around the world to virtually come together and celebrate Carolina’s 12th chancellor.
University Day
Oct. 12
University Day is an occasion to remember the University’s past and celebrate its future. The date, Oct. 12, marks the laying of the cornerstone of Old East, the institution’s first building and the oldest state university building in the nation.
